Custodial Worker (Housekeeper)

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: This is an entry level position and therefore, there are no minimum qualifications required. Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions. Ability to use hand or lightweight powered cleaning tools or equipment. Ability to physically perform the full range of assigned duties such as being physically able to frequently lift empty wastebaskets, lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, stoop, and reach for long periods of time, frequently pushing carts that may weigh up to 100 pounds, loaded with dirty laundry or wastepaper.
