CYS Facility Director NF-04

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Education: Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in child development, early childhood education, elementary or secondary education, home economics, special education, or other fields appropriate to the position. - For positions in Child Development Facilities: The education must have been in child development, early childhood education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education or other fields appropriate to the position to be filled such as directly related behavioral science. AND Experience: Candidate must also possess all of the following: Minimum of 24 months experience working in group programs with children/youth as well as demonstrated knowledge in theories and principals of child/youth development, which must include 12 months of demonstrated experience in managing an entire cycle of operation of a CYS facility to include budgeting, facility management, supply management, program development, program implementation, curriculum oversight, hiring selections, training and supervision of personnel.
