About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing technical assistance for urgent mission-degrading Casualty Reports (CASREPS) or requests for technical assistance affecting assigned subsystems, without customary reference, and requiring direct communications with ships' officers. 2) Performing functional checkout, assessment, adjustment, and test of new or modernized shipboard systems in a systems qualifications test environment. 3) Participating in ordnance alterations (ORDALTs), ship alterations, and field changes which include modification of components. 4) Performing shipboard assessments to validate material and operational readiness of assigned system (e.g., AEGIS AN/SPY-RADAR systems and subsystems).
