About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Conducting Port Operations control, purchase, repair and modernization;2.) Identifying work to be performed on equipment and the proper trade backgrounds necessary to ensure maintenance and repair;3.) Applying principles, methods and techniques of a broad range of practical engineering and ship construction and graphic skills; 4.) Planning the proper use of equipment and developing long term plans on equipment use; 5.) Utilizing Engineering Department personnel and outside contractor Naval architects to effectively plan and manage overhaul work on equipment.
