About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as a Principal Investigator, S&T Portfolio Manager, or Technical Lead for advanced research initiatives (e.g., SBIR, ONR FNC, TIPS, and NISE) to advance state-of-the-art technologies for insertion into weapon and aviation systems; 2) Identifying technical gaps, developing and defending comprehensive S&T research proposals, and securing customer sponsorship to support flight planning and technology transition processes; 3) Evaluating engineering and scientific literature to assess technical trends and feasibility in areas such as systems engineering, data science, and advanced sensors; 4) Negotiating the challenges of transitioning laboratory-developed technologies into established Programs of Record to improve operational effectiveness and reduce lifecycle costs.
