GENERAL ENGINEER / ARCHITECT

In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing professional engineering or architectural construction management services concerning facilities construction, repair and maintenance; 2) Identifying and recommending technical solutions to engineering and architectural problems encountered during the construction of facilities; 3) Monitoring contractor schedules to ensure construction projects do not exceed time constraints; 4) Reviewing accident prevention plans for compliance with contract health and safety requirements; AND 5) Reviewing contract drawings and specifications with respect to constructability and compatibility with field conditions.
