A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possess and maintain the following certifications (A copy of each certification must be submitted at the time of application): Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent; i.e. Star Guard or Ellis) American Red Cross Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED or equivalent (American Heart Association CPR/AED) First Aid Possess one or more Instructor rating (A copy of each certification must be submitted at the time of application): American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor (LGTI) authorization American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) authorization Aquatic Exercise Association Instructor (AEA) authorization Adapted Aquatic Instructor authorization
