role, you will be responsible for the management of the complete procurement process from proposal preparation activities, negotiations, administration of subcontracts and execution of supplier management activities to provide for the acquisition of equipment and services in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications for Programs for the U.S. and international customers.<br><br>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</span><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Perform subcontract negotiation and subcontract administration on new and existing subcontracts</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Perform day-to-day subcontract administration in support of assigned subcontracts</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Administer full life cycle subcontract management, including but not limited to proposal support, negotiations of non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements, preparation of solicitations packages to subcontractors, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiations of terms and conditions, award of subcontracts, subcontract administration, issue resolution and closeout activities</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Maintain subcontract proposal and contract documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS and Prime Contract flow-down provisions, company policies and procedures, and subcontract provisions across the program</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Review solicitations and Prime Contract awards to effectively flow down required documents and clauses</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Prior experience participating in a CPSR audit and understanding of compliance requirements</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Negotiate terms and conditions in addition to nondisclosure agreements, proprietary information agreements, blanket agreements, teaming agreements and long-term supply agreements</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Review and process subcontractor invoices to ensure compliance with the contractual requirements</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Perform data entry using various databases and perform any other duties or tasks as assigned</span></li></ul><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Note about Location: This is a Hybrid-friendly role and may be supported from either Minneapolis, MN or Sterling Heights, MI. </span></br></br><b>Required Education, Experience, & Skills </b></br><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Typically requires a Bachelors degree and four years related experience, or the overall equivalent</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations and an good understanding of the role of subcontractors in complex industries</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Experience as a senior level individual contributor with experience supporting major procurement efforts in a Department of War (DOW) contracting environment</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations and the nature of flow-down requirements</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">International Procurement experience</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Understanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and requirements</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Comprehensive understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Strong working experience generating, negotiating and executing major subcontracts</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Demonstrable experience of negotiating terms and conditions</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Demonstrated ability to resolve contractual conflicts with subcontractors through negotiations and contractual vehicles</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Project / Supplier Management</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Financial Acumen</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Strategic/Critical Thinking</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Ability to find win-win solutions; a “make it happen” attitude</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)</span></li></ul></br></br><b>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills </b></br><ul><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">A clear understanding of regulatory and trade compliance, particularly with regards to export and import controls</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Advanced degree and/or certification in CPSM, CPM, CIPS or CFCM</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;">Experience in working in industries with highly regulated environments desirable</span></li></ul><br><br><b>Pay Information</b><br>Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723<br><br>Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
