Join our team and see how you can make a bigger difference.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%">Within Engineering, the successful candidate will perform Software Configuration Management (SCM) tasks including the fundamentals of Configuration Management: identification, change management, status accounting, audit and verification.</span></span></span></span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%">Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, this position is to be performed <b>full-time on site</b>,<b> </b>conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.</span></span></span></span></span><br><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="border:none windowtext 1.0pt; font-size:10.0pt; padding:0in">Under direct supervision and given specific direction, the successful candidate </span><span lang="EN" style="border:none windowtext 1.0pt; font-size:10.0pt; padding:0in">will execute SCM activities per the Configuration Data Management Plan and BAE Systems policies and procedures. </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt">The SCM will learn to manage software repositories using designated SCM tools (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira) for software version and baseline control, using BAE Systems procedures. They will learn to execute and document software builds to ensure reproducible software baselines and deliveries. They will gain experience in performing release and change control functions using SCM tools to ensure product integrity.</span></span></span></span><br><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">The SCM will assist in generating and maintaining all necessary program software development, release and change records, including status accounting records. They perform SCM Configuration Control Board activities including establishing the agenda, recording approvals/non-approvals, and publishing and maintaining action items lists. T</span></span></span></span><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">he SCM will develop proficiency in the use of the assigned SCM tools, and knowledge of company software configuration management processes and standards. </span></span></span></span><br><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%">1. Analyze, evaluate, develop and implement processes and systems within budget and adhere to time requirements and schedule.</span></span></span></span></span><br><br><br></br></br><b>Required Education, Experience, & Skills </b></br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="background:white"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="color:#121212">- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience</span></span></span></span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="color:#121212"><span style="background:white">- Strong Microsoft Office Skills</span><br><span style="background:white">- US citizen eligible for a DoD security clearance</span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br></br></br><b>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills </b></br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="background:white"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="color:#121212">- </span></span></span></span><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%">Two or more years related experience.</span></span></span></span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%">- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field<br>- Active Secret clearance</span></span></span></span></span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:" calibri",sans-serif"="">- Experience with basic computer applications, databases, operating systems, and hardware.<br>- Experience with SCM tools such as Git, GitLab, Jira, BitBucket, ClearCase and ClearQuest.</span></span></span><br><br><b>Pay Information</b><br>Full-Time Salary Range: $64926 - $110374<br><br>Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
