Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes counseling, data collection, medical coordination, and procedural work related to Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) processing and Temporary Disability Retired List (TDRL) reevaluations; oversee work to be performed thru subordinate lead specialists of a staff of two or more, sets and adjust priorities, and oversee work of multi-sections/units for completion. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
