You’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow, all as part of an exciting and engaging career.<br><br>You’ll be an integral part of the team allowing BAE Systems to create capability that supports the overall mission: “We protect those who protect us.”<br><br>BAE Systems is seeking a team contributor in the field of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to join a growing dynamic group of engineers developing leading edge capabilities in Active and Passive Sensing. You will be a technical member of the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Systems Engineering Group that is responsible supporting design, development, integration, implementation, test and verification/validation of EW systems across multiple business areas.<br><br>As team member, you will be responsible for and support technologies on next-generation military/commercial applications. You will also perform, delivering technical value, in the role of an RF Systems Engineer, for programs ranging from developing prototypes, full rate production, and sustainment of systems.<br><br>Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. </span></span></span><br><br>You will support technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation; evaluate alternatives including cost, risk, and supportability; and perform analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product, to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. You will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total system solutions and translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.</br></br><b>Required Education, Experience, & Skills </b></br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or related field, and minimum of 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience</span></span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">1. Performing one of more of the following systems engineering functions: </span></span></span><ul><li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Review, develops and documents system level operational concepts</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Review and evaluates system designs</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Review and analyzes algorithms.</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Review test procedures and other reports.</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Supports system level integration and test of RF EW systems.</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Verifies and validates system designs to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements.</span></span></span></li></ul><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">2. Supporting proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost estimating and presentation activities.</span></span></span><br></br></br><b>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills </b></br><ul><li>Some knowledge of systems engineering</li><li>Security clearance </li><li>Hardware background</li></ul><br><br><b>Pay Information</b><br>Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921<br><br>Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
