About this role

To qualify at the FV-H (FG/GS-12) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G (FG/GS-10/11) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: Analyzing training programs to identify knowledge gaps or deficiencies Developing evaluative methods, procedures and standards to analyze education and training needs for employee development Determining the need for and initiating changes/updates in course content due to technological changes or new developments in the field Consulting with management to develop strategies, policies, or procedures to improve the development and design of training programs AND Physical Requirements: You must be able to perform efficiently the essential functions of the position without hazard to yourself or others including the ability to climb ladders, pick up moderately heavy objects, ability to tolerate close places, and be subjected to moderate but rapid changes in temperature and altitude. Selectee must possess or have the ability to pass a FAA Class II Physical Examination. Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
